As a mom of three awesome kids, who grew up faster then I could blink and a wife to a super creatively talented husband of 20yrs!! I've been the young bride not truly knowing what to expect on her wedding day. I have been the young mom who wanted to preserve every second of my babies being little. With experience in my craft and growing wisdom, I realize even more as each year passes how priceless timeless imagery is for our life story.
My passion is to seek & preserve those magic moments that often go unseen.
My style of photography is a beautiful mess of film double exposures and dreamlike portraits that speak your truth.
Even with having my work published in many publications and having been given awards for my life's works, nothing is more flattering than seeing my wedding couples come back with their growing families year after year. I truly cherish the friendships I have made with my lifelong clients who have genuinely become my friends.

Hey! I'm Michelle.
I been capturing life stories for lovers & families since 2006 in Hawaii. I am a lover of sunrises and sunsets, surprises & spontaneity. Growing up along the coastal community of Long Island, New York, fostered my love for the ocean. I've studied fine arts and photography at Towson University and Humboldt State. Now I'm a proud momma of 3 human babies and 6 fur babies (3 cats and 3 dogs). When I'm not photographing humans you can find me photographing nature, traveling to off the beaten path locations around the world, tinkering in my garden and avocado farm on Kauai, playing in the ocean with my kids, or spinning pottery in my home studio.

Family: both chosen and born to me, are always my #1 priority. I strive to be more than a photographer who delivers beautiful photos. I want to hold space for you to show up completely to come as you are. I am here to capture the connection, the real love, the messy stuff that lay alongside those weird, wild and magical moments.

I do things a little differently. I prioritize experience over everything. I limit my schedule to reflect that. With years of experience, I have been on the opposite end of the spectrum shooting 60 weddings a year and I began to hate photography, I want to be at my best creativily for you!

We hired Michelle for an engagement session while we were vacationing on Kauai. Throughout the entire booking process she was responsive and went above and beyond to find the right location for our shoot. She is very professional, very laid back and easy to communicate with. The turnaround time for photos was timely and when we got our images I was blown away! These weren't just beautiful photos, these photos were art! So, we hired her for our wedding on Kauai too. Yet again we were blown away by the beauty she sees in things I would have overlooked! Since then, Michelle has literally been our photographer for all our life events. She has photographed our baby moon photos and all our family photos year after year. She's become our official photographer! She's the best!

I worked with Michelle to do a surprise proposal for my then girlfriend on Kauai. I was nervous throughout the process but she had great ideas and our location for the proposal worked out better then I could have ever imagined. My girlfriend had no idea and we captured candid photos with drone shots that captured the beauty of the moment and Waimea canyon! It will be with us forever. She was always responsive throughout the few months I had planned for this. We then went on to book her for our Hawaii wedding at Waimea Plantation Cottages! Couldn't be happier!

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Michelle is amazingly talented! We had our baby-moon in Kaui and wanted to do a maternity shoot on this beautiful island. I'm soooo glad we did! It definitely was the highlight of my vacation!
I found Michelle via Google, looked her up on yelp, and looked at her website and was immediately drawn to her work. I contacted her via her website and we emailed back and worth till the day came. Excellent communication!!! She was prepared with locations (even had back-up plans), flowers, even my requests for ideas like a surfboard.
She is the sweetest, down to earth person I've ever met! She knew how to pose me, guided me on what to do, and my favorite part was the underwater photo session! You definitely have to do this!!! even if you are scared of the water!!! you will not regret it! Even my baby girl was kicking and enjoying being in the water! The photos came out GORGEOUS! Definitely exceeded my expectations!!
